The Clerk reporCed that a conditi.onal use permit is necessary on the project and this requires a public hearing. The Planner stated that a conditi.onal use permit is recordable against the title of the property. The PLanner pointed out thati the street which runs through the properCy i.s a private one, Uut functions as a public street. 'Che Planner stated that the parlcing as propos~d caould be prohibited on a public street. The ordi.nance prohibits commerc:ial establishments from backing onto a street. The Planner pointed out that Che senior citizen establishment will be utilizing, this private street. The Planner Lelt it caas a potentially hazarclous situation.
