Vilcing <br />Watermain Dri.ve by watermain. This improvement was petitioned for. <br />Viking Drive <br />Hanson pointed out that easements are required on thi.s improvement. <br />Agenda Also the 6ngineer indicated that the improvement probably was not <br />Item No. 5 feasible unl.ess it is combi.ned ~aith other i.mprovements, <br />The Fngineer reported that the cost per front foot to the property <br />owners o~ould be about $31. I£ this improvement is not comUined <br />~oith the qrcade Street i.mprovement, the cost would be ~49 per front <br />foot. <br />Mrs. Nardini asked i.f. tk~e cost would change as other improvements <br />are ac.ided. The Engineer d:id not thi.n(c so and felt that the estimates <br />were fairly accur.ate. <br />Mr. }lanna aslced if property oomers will be required to hook up to <br />water. Mrs. Nardini stated that people are not required to hook up, <br />but poi.nted out that the City char~es a$6 availabi.lity charge per <br />quarter ~ahich covers City maintenance costs for water l.ines and the <br />tower and other facilities pertaining to the watermain. <br />Page -3- <br />
