MINUTES <br />City Council <br />January 25 , 1 984 <br />Buechler Mr. Carl Buechler, owner of a double bungalow a~t 2604-2606 North <br />PUD Jackson, Lo~t 6, Block 1, Preston Addition, appeared before the <br />(ConT..) Council requesting a conditional use permiT, for a planned unit <br />development, for the purpose of spliF.ting the parcel along the <br />party wall of the st.ructure. This would allow for the individual <br />sale of each unit wit.h its separate parcel. <br />Mr. Buechler stated that he would se11 to an invesf.or, however, it <br />would be preferablz to se11 t.o owner occupants who would be controlled <br />by their By-laws. <br />The Council discussed the zoning of this propert.y and also the <br />1 in 10 concepY.. Upon discussing the zero lot line, it was decided <br />that a precedence would not be set since the only way it. would be <br />allowed would be by PUD. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-1-37 - CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE BUFCHLER PUD <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br />The ioregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in ResoluY.ion Book No. 10, Page 44. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the followinq resolution and movcd i~ts <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84-1-37 - APPROVING T[-]E <br />CONDITIONAL USE PGRMIT FOR THE PUD <br />BECAUSE IT IS IN A R-2 ZONE AND THE <br />CITY HAS BEEN IN FAVOR OF OWNERSHIP <br />RATHER THAN RENTAL DWELLINGS~UPON THE <br />~XECUTION OF THE APPLIED PUD AGREEMENT. <br />THIS IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PLb1NNING <br />COMMISSION'S 6-0 VOTE AT THE JANUARY 12~ <br />1984 MEETING. <br />The foreqoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 10, Page 44. <br />Page 2 <br />
