The City of Little Canada recognizes the significant public interest in establishing
retail cannabis operations within its jurisdiction. In compliance with Minnesota state law, the City
must respond to retail cannabis applications within 30 days of submission. Given that only one
dispensary is permitted, the City has developed a structured application process with clear submission
requirements and evaluation standards to ensure a fair and transparent selection. These guidelines are
established to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of Little Canada residents.
