MINUTES City Council August 22, 1984 IMAX Corp. Pursuant to Section 922.020 F of the Municipal Code, a Public CUP Hearing was held to consider the Conditional Use Permit for the sale of Used Cars by the IMAX Corp. at 3175 Ryan Lane. Mr. Hanson opened the Hearing presenting the Notice of Hearinq and the mailing list. Mr. Gene Theslof, President of IMAX Corp. requested a Conditional Use Permit for a small portion of the site at 3175 Ryan Lane as a holding, repair and resale location for automobiles. Mr. Theslof was not present at the meeting. Mr. Licht has presented a subsequent report working out a satisfactory arrangement with the site. He recommended approval with a limit of ten cars. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution a~d moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 84-8-376 - APPROVING THE IMAX CORPORATION REQUEST TO ALLOW THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNER AS STATED IN HIS REPORT OF AUGUST 15, AND REQUESTING THAT THE PLANNER SUPERVISE THIS CONDITIONAL USE TO SEE THAT IT IS COMPLIED WITH IN EVERY WAY. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson Ayes (4) Hanson, Scalze, Nardini, Forsberg. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 11, Page 394. Berglund Pursuant to Section 922.020 F of the Municipal Code, a Public CUD Hearing was held to consider the Conditional Use Permit for replacement of a residential garage in a S-3 District. Mr. Hanson opened the Hearinq presenting the Notice of Hearing and the mailing list. Mr. Edward Berglund appeared before the Council requesting a Conditional Use Permit. No other persons attended to be heard in reference to this matter. The Planni~g Commission approved the request with a vote of 7-0. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 84-8-377 - CLOSING THE PUBLZC HEARING ON THE EDWARD BERGLUND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. Page 4
