1/ 1 IL111-0 - CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 18, 2024 been donated to the City of Little Canada since the donations began in the 1940s. He presented the Mayor with a check for $140,000 from the Little Canada Fire Department. Mayor Fischer thanked the department for the donation and those who support the charitable gambling program, noting the additional investments the department was able to make with the funds this year. Mayor Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: LITTLETV E I ' FIRE DE'' The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. PUBLIC HEARINGS 2025 STREET PROJECT IMPROVEMENT HEARINGS FOR NADEAU ROAD, MAPLE LEAF COURT, AND STONERIDGE COURT The City Engineer provided background information on the City's infrastructure improvement planning, identifying the three roads proposed for improvement in 2025. He provided more detailed information on Nadeau Road, Maple Leaf Court, and Stoneridge Court including the existing conditions, proposed street improvements, estimated costs and financing, and special assessments. He provided additional information on the anticipated project timeline Mayor Fischer opened the public hearing for comments from the general public. There were no comments from the public. Upon motion by D. Miller, seconded by Kwapick, the public hearing was closed. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Motion adopted. D.
