rfzNUTEs <br />City Council <br />Sept. 25, 1985 <br />Cardinal Fahey suggested that if the PUD is approved a maximun number of uni.ts <br />Property should be set. <br />(Cont.) <br /> Cathy Clemens stated that due to the development on Kound Lalce, wildlife <br /> on the Lake has been decreased and felt that this would effect the wildlif.e <br /> even m oree Clemens stated that she was against the project, <br />Glen Kloslcin questioned the potential access to Rice Street. Mr. Sherman <br />Rutzick stated that this would not happen as the property that was <br />considered is owned by the Venetian Inne Ms. Nardini pointed out that the <br />City may require the access. <br />Mr. Kl.oskin pointed out that the apartments zvould be backed up to his <br />property and stated that he has had vandali.sm problems from the existing <br />apartments in the area, Kloskin asked if the property would be fenced. <br />Jim Rutzick stated that the property would be completely fenced off and <br />felt that the development of this property may decrease the vandali.sm <br />problems at the t3oat and Motor Mart. <br />Mr. Dick Boss of Tierney's Liquor stated that he realizes that this <br />property ~oill develop some day. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RSSOLUTION N0. 85-9-452 - CLOSING 'LIIL' <br />PUBLIC HEART.NG ON THE PUU 70NING OP THfi <br />CARDINAL PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Pahey, Collova, Nardini, Scalze, IIlesener. <br />Nayes (0). <br />ResoLution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Iloolc No. 12, Page 466. <br />Mr. Collova felt that the Council must consider the long-narrow strip <br />on the south. Blesener pointed out that this parcel is 200 feet wide. <br />Mr.s. Scalze stated that the property is located right next to Iona Lane <br />and Iona Lane would probably want it to remain residential. <br />Mr. Collova pointed out that there is not access to the back of this <br />property. Fahey suggested that the City could require access to the <br />property. <br />Mr. Winters stated that without access his property would end up as a <br />buffer zone to Iona Lane, <br />Fahey suggested that the Carc3inal property developers should consider <br />obtaining this property. <br />An Iona Lane r~si.dent owner of Lot 2, stated that she did not caant any <br />more commercia or R-'3 property in the area. <br />Page -4- <br />
