MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 2.5, 1985 <br />Cardinal Scalze felt that if the area was a business area, it would generate <br />Property e~dditional business for existing business. <br />(ConC.) <br /> Fahey felt that apartments would generate more use of Little Canada <br /> business. Pahey stated that he was in favor of the proposal. <br />Mr. Blesener felt that the proposal was good f.or the area. Blesener <br />also stated that he liked the layout. However, Blesener felt that the <br />Winter property should be taken into consideration. <br />Scalze Lelt that the Iona Lane people should be aware oE what is going <br />on with the Winter property. Fahey pointed out that this is the first <br />time the city has seen this proposal. <br />Fahey felt that the PUD Agreement should adequately address the <br />sprinklering of the proposed buildings. Nardini stated Chat she wouLd <br />l.ike to see something i.n the PUD Agreement that addressecl the construction <br />phasing. Nardini stated that she did not want to see the apartmenCs <br />built and then the office buildin~s never developed. <br />Fahey s[ated that the PUD Agreement should also address building lay-out <br />and the mix of multiples versus oLFice. Also the ~dinter property should <br />be addressed. <br />Mrs. Scalze felt that the Council was moving too Last on thi.s proposal. <br />Scalze pointed out that this is the first time the Council has seen it. <br />Ms. Nardini pointed out that the PUD zoning will give the City control <br />and that is ~ahat she is looking for. <br />Ms. Nardini introdaced the follocving resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI,UTION N0. 85-9-453 - APPROVING THF.
