Mr. Clanlc 'Pessier asked for Little Canada's Position on the future extension of Little Canada Road to the easC< Tessi.er. stated that the neighborhood's concern is that Little Canada Road will. become the main deP.lector str.eet for traffi.c from the north. Pahey stated that he can appreciate Chat tkie property owners do not want blaclctop in their yards. Tessier stated that with a 14 foot parkin~ lane, a four-l.ane high~vay is being anti.cipated. 47eltzi.n stated that there is enough traffic projected for Little Canada Road so that Chis can be bui.lt< If the project is going to be bui.l.t, it must be done to standards. Tessier stated ttiak the neighbor.hood has a problem cvith the f:uture estension of the str.eet eis a four-lane hi.ghway to Ed~erton. Weltzin stated that the city warited the bridge improved and it makes sense that when Chis is being done, the appzoaches are ~.improved as we1.1. Weltzin stated that Centerville Road i.s a County road and Che County can use County State-Aid funds on it. [deltzin stated that the County has clone a l.ot with the Ci_ty to malce this inter.change function. Fahey stated that the City coants Co improve the road~aay as best it can. Pahey Ielt that the Ci.ty is ~etCi.ng blaclctop and storm sewer i.mprovement at very L:ittl.e cost to the Ci[y. There roill be no assessment to the property owners. Fahey felt Chat the major concern lies with the s:idewallc and bike path. Tessi.er stated that the bi;gest concern i.s going beyond Che ri~;hC-of-way lim:its Por Che sidewalk anc.t bitce path. Tessi.er suggested that i.f parlcing ~is banned on one side of the street, i.t could be used as a bilce path. Pahey aslced if. the County would be agreeable to thi.s. Weltzi.n stated that tlie County ~aill allo~o parking until the City Council passes a resolution requesting no par.lcing.
