MIPlUTES
City Council
Nov. 13, 1985
Rutzick/ Mr. Blesener pointed out that unless this is a commercial PUD, the
Cardinal setbacks of the Boat R D1otor Mart will be effected. The Planner
Proposal agreed that if this portion of the property is considered residential
(Cont.) the Boat & P1otor P9art will have to maintain a 40 foot setback rather
than the current 20 feet.
The owner of the 13oat & Motor Mart indicated that he does not want
his setbacks altered.
Mardini asked if the City should specify in the PUD that the setback
would not be changed. Fahey suggested that the City provide in the
PUD that i:he owners of the Rutzick/Cardinal property would not object
to a 20 foot setback on the Boat & P4otor P9art property.
P9r. Harold Fiechert asked if there would be ~ccess to Rice Street from
the Cardinal property. Mr. Fahey replied that there would not and the
access would be to Little Canada Road.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
P,ESOLUTION N0. 85-11-533 - APPROVIPlG THE PRELIMIDJARY
SITE PLAN AS PRESENTED WITH REGARD TO THE RUTZICK/
CARDINAL PROPEP,TY WHICH PROVIDES 156 APARTME~lT UPIITS
qn)D COMTINGENT UPOPI THE P10VEMENT OF THESE UMITS FURTHER
TO THE NORTH FOR THE PROVISION OF A CLUB NOUSE OPJ THE
PROPERTY ADID FURTHER COPITIMGE~IT UPOPI TNE 4dINTER PROP~RTY
~ Correction REMAINIMG R-1 FOR~6 FEET EAST OF RICE STREET TO MATCH
res. 85-11-549 THE LOT LIME OF B A~1D MOTOR MART AND COPdTINGE~IT UPOP!
384 ft FIDIAL NEGOTIATIOM OF Fl PUD t+IHICH I~IILL I~!CLUDE THF
PROVISIOPI OF THE DEVELOPERS P1AI~ITAINING A 100 FOOT
[3UFFER ZOP1E OD!
