MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April 23, 1986 <br />Tax RESOLUTIOP! N0. 86-4-160 - REFERRING THE <br />Increment PRELIMINARY DEVELOPPIENT DISTRICT PLAN ON <br />Financing TAX INCREMEDJT FINANCING AS PREPARED BY THE <br />(Cont.) PLANNER AND DATED APRIL, 1986 TO THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION FOR ITS RECOMMENDATION WITH REGARD TO THE <br />FORMAL DOCUMENT WITH THE INCLUSION OF DISTRICT 7 <br />AND A COPY OF THE CITY COUNCIL P~IMUTES AND DISCUSSION <br />SO THE PLANNING COMMISSION IS AWARE OF THE COUNCIL'S <br />REASONING FOR INCLUDING DISTRICT 7 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Collova, Blesener, Nardini. <br />Nays (1) Scalze. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 163. <br />Mr. Blesener included that he voted in favor of sending the Plan <br />to the Planning Commission, but not necessarily in favor of endorsing <br />the whole plan. Blesener is looking for the comments of the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Scalze stated that she voted against the resolution as it included <br />District 7. <br />Flockey Mr. Fahey reported that the Recreation Director will be requesting <br />authorization for the City's hockey program to be entered into <br />Agenda District 1 with regard to youth hockey competing on the C and B <br />Item No. 12 level and traveling hockey and to continue the City's association <br />with the City of Aurora. This authorization u!ill be requested <br />from the Minnesota Amatuer Hockey Association. <br />The Recreation Director has requested that the City Attorney be <br />authorized to assist him in his negotiations with the Minnesota <br />Amatuer Hockey Association. This authorization should extend to <br />the filing of any grievance that might be necessary if the request <br />is denied. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-4-161 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY TO I~IORK WITH THE RECREATION DIRECTOR <br />TO PURSUE THE ENTRY OF LITTLE CANADA'S HOCKEY <br />PROGRAM INTO THE DISTRICT 1 MAHA <br />The foregoing reoslution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Nardini. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 164. <br />Page -15- <br />
