MINUTES <br />City Council <br />May 14, 1986 <br />Bingo <br />(Cont.) <br />Recess <br />Animal <br />Control <br />Services <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 7 <br />Mrs. Scalze pointed out that her vote to call for the PUD hearing <br />on f4ay 20 is not an indication of how she will vote that evening. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that if Council concerns are answered, he will <br />be prepared to act on the license application. <br />Ms. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-183 - TABLING ACTION <br />ON THE CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE APPLI- <br />CATION MADE BY THE VARIOUS CHARITIES UNTIL <br />THE MAY 20, 1986 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Fahey, Scalze, Blesener, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 181. <br />At this point in the meeting, 9:53 P.M., Council took a short recess. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 10:13 P.M. <br />The City Clerk reported that Mr. Thomas Angley would like to transfer <br />the ownership of his animal control business to his son, Francis Angley. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-184 - APPROVING THE <br />AMENDMENT OF THE CITY S ANIMAL CONTROL <br />CONTRACT BY THE TRANSFER OF THE BUSINESS <br />FROM THOP~AS ANGLEY TO FRANCIS ANGLEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Nardini. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 182. <br />Solid Waste P9rs. Scalze reported that Chuck Wiger has informed her that cities <br />Management that have taken steps towards compliance with solid waste management <br />Committee can get funding of 50 cents per year per household. This funding <br />comes from the garbage tax. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. D Scalze suggested that Kathy Tipler should be appointed Chairman <br />of a Solid Waste Management Committee to handle this area for <br />the City.
