MINUTES <br />City Council <br />May 14, 1986 <br />Watermain <br />Relocation <br />(Cont.) <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-187 - INFORMING TNE <br />MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION THAT <br />THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA WOULD LIKE THEM TO <br />INCLUDE THE RELOCATION OF WATERMAIN UNDER THE <br />RAILROAD IN THC STATE'S PLAN <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey, Nardini. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 185. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-188 - AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY AND CITY ENGINEER TO RESEARCH <br />THE LIABILITY OF THE STATE WITH REGARD TO <br />THE RELOCATION OF WATERMAIN UNDER THE RAILROAD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Nardini, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 186. <br />Canabury The City Engineer reported that he researched the drainage problem <br />Pond at Canabury Pond and it appears that there is water from the pond <br />Drainage draining into the basement garage and running into the sewer. <br />The Engineer reported that efforts are being made to pump down <br />Agenda the level of the pond and the Engineer recommended to the <br />Addition Homeowners Association that they use a larger pump. <br />The Engineer felt that if the Homeowners Association can resolve <br />the matter themselves, this is what he would rather see. The <br />Engineer pointed out the length of time it took to get agreements <br />signed for the Sleepy Hollow drainage project. <br />The Engineer's only concern at this point was the water running <br />into the sewer. <br />Little Canada The Attorney pointed out that Little Canada Road has been stacked <br />Road in conjunction with the bridge widening project.
