MINUTES City Council May 14, 1986 Watermain Relocation (Cont.) Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-187 - INFORMING TNE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION THAT THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA WOULD LIKE THEM TO INCLUDE THE RELOCATION OF WATERMAIN UNDER THE RAILROAD IN THC STATE'S PLAN The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, Fahey, Nardini. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 185. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-188 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY AND CITY ENGINEER TO RESEARCH THE LIABILITY OF THE STATE WITH REGARD TO THE RELOCATION OF WATERMAIN UNDER THE RAILROAD The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Nardini, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 186. Canabury The City Engineer reported that he researched the drainage problem Pond at Canabury Pond and it appears that there is water from the pond Drainage draining into the basement garage and running into the sewer. The Engineer reported that efforts are being made to pump down Agenda the level of the pond and the Engineer recommended to the Addition Homeowners Association that they use a larger pump. The Engineer felt that if the Homeowners Association can resolve the matter themselves, this is what he would rather see. The Engineer pointed out the length of time it took to get agreements signed for the Sleepy Hollow drainage project. The Engineer's only concern at this point was the water running into the sewer. Little Canada The Attorney pointed out that Little Canada Road has been stacked Road in conjunction with the bridge widening project. Work is being done on appraisals. Agenda Item No. 12 Page -20-
