MINUTES City Council May 14, 1986 Road Survey Mr. Blesener pointed out that the road survey that the Council received contains a lot of information. Dlesener requested that Agenda the Council review this survey. Item No. 16 Street Mr. Blesener reported that the County has done the City's street Striping striping in the past and Public Works would like to request that the County do the striping again for 1986. Estimated cost is Agenda between $1,200 and $1,500. Item No. 16 Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-190 - AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT TO REQUEST THE COUNTY TO DO THE CITY'S STREET STRIPING AS PROPOSED FOR 1986 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 188. Federal Blesener reported that there is a Federal sign program that assists Sign financially in the replacement of traffic control signs. The Program Public Works Department would like to apply for assistance under this program. Agenda Item No. 16 Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-191 - APPROVING THE CITY S PARTICIPATION IN THE FEDERAL SIGN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT TO SIGN THE APPLICATION FORM ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Fahey, Scalze, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 189. Sewer Mr. Blesener reported that the Public Works Department would like Gas to purchase a sewer gas monitor for use in going down manholes. Monitor Blesener reported that in the future it will be compulsory that the City provide such a monitor to its employees. Agenda Item No. 16 Page -22-
