MINUTES <br />City Council <br />May 14, 1986 <br />Road Survey Mr. Blesener pointed out that the road survey that the Council <br />received contains a lot of information. Dlesener requested that <br />Agenda the Council review this survey. <br />Item No. 16 <br />Street Mr. Blesener reported that the County has done the City's street <br />Striping striping in the past and Public Works would like to request that <br />the County do the striping again for 1986. Estimated cost is <br />Agenda between $1,200 and $1,500. <br />Item No. 16 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-190 - AUTHORIZING <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT TO REQUEST <br />THE COUNTY TO DO THE CITY'S STREET STRIPING <br />AS PROPOSED FOR 1986 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 188. <br />Federal Blesener reported that there is a Federal sign program that assists <br />Sign financially in the replacement of traffic control signs. The <br />Program Public Works Department would like to apply for assistance under <br />this program. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 16 Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-5-191 - APPROVING THE <br />CITY S PARTICIPATION IN THE FEDERAL SIGN <br />REPLACEMENT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT TO SIGN THE <br />APPLICATION FORM ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Nardini, Fahey, Scalze, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 13, Page 189. <br />Sewer Mr. Blesener reported that the Public Works Department would like <br />Gas to purchase a sewer gas monitor for use in going down manholes. <br />Monitor Blesener reported that in the future it will be compulsory that <br />the City provide such a monitor to its employees. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 16 <br />Page -22- <br />
