P4I~IUTc S <br />Citv Council <br />June 25, 1936 <br />41ontreal The foregoing resolution ~~~as ciuty seconde~i by P9s. fdarctini, <br />Courts Ayes (~) Scatze, ~Jardini, Fahey, Collova. <br />(Cont.) ~days (0). <br />Resolution dectared adopted, <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Roo!< tdo. 15, f~age 2f3. <br />Recess At this point in the rneeting, 9:12 P.~i., Council too!< a short recess. <br />The meeting was reconvened at 9:21 P.P1. <br />Kingsbury IJa1e Kinnsbury, property o~~mer on LaQore Road, apoeared before the <br />Drainage Council and expressed concern that he did not get a hearing notice <br />Concerns for the Sophie/Peterson plat, <br />Flgenda It was determinec! that the notice was sent to the F~revious property <br />Item No. 9 o~r~ner. <br />Ki ngsbury svas concernetl that the exi s'ti ng storm setiver on La3ore Roacl <br />a~ias not adequate for the existing drainage and that a substantial <br />portion of the Sophie/Peterson drainage will be directed into this <br />storm sewer. Kingsbury pointed out that the storro se4aer has already <br />overflotiaed several tirnes in recent,years. <br />The Engineer reported that about ?_00 feet of the ;ophie/Peterson <br />plat s~rill drain into this storm sewer. This area currently drains <br />into the storm sewar, the only ciifferenca is that ~ihen the property <br />develops there will be more impervious surface, <br />Fahey asked the Engineer if the ci~ivertanc catch basin 1•aere adequate. <br />The Engineer replied that they were. <br />Kingsbury disagreed. <br />~ahey sugg°sted that tha ~ngineer reviesa the situation, hoeaever, <br />informed Kingsbury that i~ it is still the Fn~ineer's opinion that <br />the storm sev~sr is adequate, the Council would rely on tnat opinion. <br />I:ingsbury then expressed concern avith i`il1ing that the adjacent <br />property oevner to iiis parcel has done. <br />,~',~ralze suggestetl that the Engineer look at the drainage betE~een the <br />two prooerties. <br />The Ci ty ~ittorney commented that i ni ti al ly t4~~ prob1 em i s betti~~een <br />Kinysbury and his neighbor. <br />Karolyn Kingsbury reported that ~~rhen 'they filled their property <br />n~~e _12_ <br />
