MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 23, 1986 <br />Schafer Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Fill Permit <br />(Cont.l RESOLUTION N0. 86-7-335 - APPROVING A FILL <br />PERMIT FOR MR. ROBERT SCFIAFER AT 2570 JACKSON <br />STREET AS REQUESTED PER THE APPROVAL AND <br />INSPECTION OF THE CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Collova, Nardini, Scalze, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Page 392. <br />Various The Engineer pointed out that the agenda contains correspondence <br />Drainage on the County Road B-2 drainage matter, the Kingsbury drainage <br />Reports matter, the Edgerton 8 Sunrise Drive drainage matter, and the <br />Canabury pond. This correspondence is for Council information. <br />Agenda <br />Items No. <br />14, 15, 16, <br />and 17 <br />Overtime The Mayor reported that he has reviewed City policy with regard <br />Compensation to overtime compensation for holidays as well as what other <br />businesses and cities are doing in this regard and it is his <br />Agenda recommendation that employees be compensated on holidays on <br />Item No. 18 which they work at a rate of their regular pay for that day <br />plus time and one-half. Fahey suggested that this policy be <br />made retroactive to January 1, 1986. <br />There was some discussion between the Council and City employees <br />regarding the City's present policy of holiday pay and Mr. Fahey <br />stated that the present policy is not clear. <br />Mr. Steele requested that the next time there is a change in <br />the personnel policy, that this change be communicated to the <br />employees. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86-7-336 - AMENDING THE <br />PERSONNEL POLICY TO PROVIDE OVERTIME <br />~<COMPENSATION ON NOLIDAYS AT A RATE OF * Two <br />>', correction ~~ AND ONE-HALF RETROACTIVE TO JANUARY <br />Res. 86-8-349 1, 1986 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Collova, Nardini, Scalze, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Page 393. <br />Page -15- <br />
