Fahey reported that the S~linter Carnival has requested <br />authorization to use Lake Gervais for their snoaamobile races <br />on January 31 and February 1, 19~7. Fah~y expressed concern <br />that these uates might conflict ~f~ith the Recreation nssociation's <br />softball garne~ on ice h21d in conjunction ~~~ith the S~linter Carnival <br />eac'n year on Lake ~ervais. <br />Council also noted t'nat the City receivFCf cornplaints 1a.st year <br />from City residents about not being able to use tYie Lake <.luring <br />the tdintar Carnival races. <br />Council decided to tah1e action on the request pending a report <br />from the City's Recreation Director. <br />P4r.
