MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Jan. 14, 1987 <br />Attendance P4r. Blesener reported that Dan Drake and Joe Steele are scheduled <br />At Sea~er to attend a collection system operator's seminar on January 21, 22 <br />School and 23. Cost of the seminar is $50 each and the seminar is necessary <br /> to maintain Mr. Drake's and Mr. Steele's sewer operator's licenses. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 12 Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-1-21 - APPROVING THE <br />ATTENDANCE OF JOE STEELE AND DAN DRAKE <br />AT A COLLECTION SYSTEM OPERATOR'S SEMINAR <br />ON JANUARY 21, 22, AND 23, 1987 AT A COST <br />OF $50.00 EACH <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Sca7ze, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 21. <br />Calling For Mr. Blesener reported that the Utility Department would like to <br />Bids For call for bids for a new tractor to replace an old tractor that <br />Tractor the City recently sold. The tractor would be used for mowing and <br /> other maintenance work. Estimated cost is between $12,000 and <br />,4~~enda $14,000 and would be paid for from the 19II6 Capital Outlay Funds. <br />Item No. 12 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-1-22 - CALLI~IG FOR BIDS <br />FOR A NEW TRACTOR AS REQUESTED BY TNE <br />UTILITY DEPARTMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Collova, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book ~lo. 17, Page 22. <br />Street Mr. Collova reported that Little Canada Road was being swept <br />Sweeping and asked if the City was doing the sweeping. Collova felt <br />that it was unnecessary to sweep streets at this time of the <br />Agenda year. <br />Addition <br />Mr. Blesener reported that the City sweeps its streets in the <br />spring. Little Canada Road is a County road, and it was probably <br />the County doing the sweeping. <br />Page -13- <br />
