RESOLUTIONS <br />City Council <br />Feb. 11, 1987 <br />Bingo Mr. Collova reported that the City has not received a PUD Agreement <br />PUD from Tom Short, owner of the building being leased to the Little <br />Agreement Canada Charitable Bingo Organization. <br />Agenda Fahey instructed the City Attorney to check into this. <br />Addition <br />Street Mr. ~lesener reported that the City received the following <br />Sweeping quotations for street sweeping for 1987: <br />Bids <br /> Clean Sweep, Inc. $52.00 per hour <br />Agenda Crosstown Sweeping Corp. $52.00 per hour <br />Item No. 16 American Sweeping Co. $57.50 per hour <br /> T. A. Schifsky $55.00 per hour <br /> Foss Sweeping $46.00 per hour <br />Public Works has recommended that the low bid of Foss Sweeping be <br />accepted and approved. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-2-61 - ACCEPTING AND <br />APPROVING THE LOW BID OF FOSS SWEEPING <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $46.00 PER HOUR FOR 1987 <br />STREET SWEEPING WORK <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 64. <br />Tax Abatement Mrs. Scalze reported that there are property taxes accruing on <br />& Assessment the Thunder Bay park property and Johnson park property as well <br />Deletions as assessments. <br />For Pa~k <br />Properties The City Attorney reported that the City needs to make application <br />to the County for the abatement of taxes and deletion of assessments <br />Agenda on these properties. This is not done automatically. <br />Item No. 17 <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-2-62 - INSTRUCTING TNE <br />CITY CLERK TO MAKE APPLICATION TO THE <br />COUNTY FOR THE ABATEMENT OF TAXES AND <br />DELETION OF ASSESSMENTS ON PARCEL NOS. <br />05-29-22-12-0069, 05-29-22-12-0079, <br />05-29-22-31-0048 <br />Page -19- <br />
