MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Feb. 11, 1987 <br />Bingo Blesener requested the average number of bingo players at each <br />(Cont.) session and the average number of bingo packages per player. <br />Babel reported that he could produce this information. Babel <br />also reported that the number of players has been increasing <br />and for the month of December the average was 244 per session. <br />Fahey requested the number of people playing bingo for the dates <br />December 20 through January 10 at each session plus the number <br />of package sold at each session. <br />Scalze felt that the Council should obtain this information for <br />each date since the bingo organization began operation. <br />Babel reported that the information is available, but it will take <br />a substantial amount of work to obtain it. <br />Mr. Bob Nash asked if P4r. Babel was speaking on behalf of each <br />of the charities or just the Lions Club. <br />Masman replied that Mr. Babel is the accountant for each charity. <br />Nash asked if Babel could produce information on each of the <br />charities. <br />Babel replied that he could. Babel <br />hired him, and the Hall Association <br />of each charity. <br />reported that the Hall Association <br />is comprised of a representative <br />Collova pointed out that the bingo hall was given permission for <br />an occupancy of 450 people, and the Building Inspector counted the <br />chairs recently and there were 596. <br />Mr. Masman replied that the extra chairs have been removed. <br />Scalze requested an updated floor plan for the hall, and noted that <br />the floor plan has been revised since it was first presented to <br />the Council. <br />Masman agreed to submit this information. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-2-49 - REQUESTING TNAT <br />EACH CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION, EITHER THROUGH <br />THEIR ACCOUNTANT OR BINGO MANAGER, INVOLVED <br />IN THE LITTLE CANADA CHARITABLE BINGO ORGANIZATION <br />SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO THE CITY <br />CLERK PRIOR TO FEBRUARY 25, 1987: <br />Page -9- <br />
