MINUTES City Council Feb. 25, 1987 Firewood (Cont.) Walkway Easements Agenda Item No. 14a LaValle suggested that whatever ordinance is adopted, the City should make sure that it is enforceable. The Planner thought that the Building Inspector patterned the ordinance after St. Paul's. Scalze suggested that the Building Inspector look at some suburban ordinances. Mrs. Scalze reported that the Park Commission has questioned whether the walkway easements in the Sophie/Peterson plat and Pat Goff's development on County Road D have been adequately described in the plats. Council looked at the final plats for these developments and noted that the easements were not designated as walkway easements. Council felt that the City Attorney should review the matter and ensiare that the City has the necessary walkway easements. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-2-85 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO VERIFY THAT ADEQUATE WALKI~AY EASEMENTS HAVE BFEN DESCRIBED AND ARE ON FILE IN THE APPROPRIATE FASHION FOR THE SOPHIE/PETERSON PLAT AS WELL AS PAT GOFF'S ASPEN GROVE ADDITION Grant For Spooner Park Purchase Agenda Item No. 14b The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Collova. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 90. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-2-86 - AUTHORIZING BILL SANDERS TO PREPARE A LAWCON GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE PURCNASE OF SPOONER PARK The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. Ayes (5) Sanders, Collova, Fahey, LaValle, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 91. Page -16-
