MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JANUARY 8, 2025 <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-1-13 — APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA PERSONNEL POLICY. SECTION 9 — COMPENSATION TO <br />INCL UDE A WELLNESS REIMB URSEMENT PROGRAM <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ACCEPT PROPOSAL FOR BUSINESS CORRIDOR BRANDING SERVICES <br />The Community Relations Manager stated that staff requests that the Council consider the quote and <br />proposal from Neuger for a business corridor branding project and provide background information. <br />Mayor Fischer asked for information on what success would look like from this work. <br />The Community Relations Manager replied that the consultant would design and provide raw design <br />files for two banners as well as being present at engagement sessions that she will lead. She stated that <br />Ramsey County extended the locations along Rice Street and Little Canada Road. <br />Kwapick asked what the remainder of the grant would be used for. <br />The Community Relations Manager replied that the remainder of the funds would be used to create the <br />actual banners. <br />Malone asked if the City is limited to those two areas for the banners. <br />The Community Relations Manager confirmed that this funding would be limited to those locations, <br />but the City could choose to spend additional funds to print more banners and place them in other <br />areas. <br />Mayor Fischer asked if this would involve the City logo. <br />The Community Relations Manager confirmed that this would incorporate the existing City logo. She <br />stated that they will also engage with the business community in those corridors to solicit input. <br />Miller asked if the grant would cover the installation of the banners. <br />The Community Relations Manager was unsure if that would be a qualified expense under the grant. <br />Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />FIXr willr i r <br />r r 0-rA & A A A 0r <br />N6 <br />
