MINUTES City Council March 11, 1987 Solid Waste The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. Advisory Ayes (4) Scalze, LaValle, Fahey, Collova. Committee Nays (0). Report Resolution declared adopted. (Cont.l This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 116. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-3-107 - AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR ADDITIONAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO THE CITY'S SOLID WASTE ADVISORY COMMITTEE THROUGH THE FOLLOWING METHODS: 1. A NOTICE IN SEWER BILLS; 2. A NOTICE ON CABLE TV; 3. OFFICIAL CITY NEWSPAPER; 4. NOTICE TO MOBILEHOME PARKS AND VARIOUS HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATIONS AND APARTMENT COMPLEXES IN THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Collova, LaValle. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 117. Fahey instructed the City Clerk to send a copy of the Council meeting minutes to the Mobilehome Parks and various Homeowners Associations along with the request for additional Solid Waste Advisory Committee members. Scalze suggested that if Councilmembers know of people who would be an asset to the committee, that they should try to solicit their participation. Class B Lois Blomberg, representing St. Joseph's Society, appeared before Gambling the Council requesting approval of a Class B gambling license to License operate a pull-tab booth at Gordies. St. Joseph's Society The City Clerk reported that the application is in order and the City has received a satisfactory police report. Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-3-108 - APPROVING THE APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY ST.
