MINUTES
City Council
March 11, 1987
Gambling The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by h1rs.
License Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Fahey, Collova.
St. Joseph's Nays (0).
Society Resolution declared adopted.
(Cont.) This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17,
Scalze.
Page 118.
Council discussed the copy of a letter they received regarding
Little Canada Charitable Bingo which states that no employee of
the bingo operation employed after March 11, 1987 can work at
another bingo operation. Scalze pointed out that the
text amendment came about due to Cellular One's request to build
a tower in Little Canada. Scalze did not feel that the City should
put developers on notice that it is seeking another tower.
The City Attorney reported that the current code did not deal with
the tower issue and Cellular One was of the impression that a tower
was a permitted use. However, the City Planner and City Attorney
convinced Cellular One that the text amendment was necessary to
include towers as conditional uses.
