MINUTES
City Council
March 25, 1987
Zoning Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Revisions
(Cont.) RESOLUTION N0. 87-3-116 - CONTINUING THE
PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ZONING REVISIONS
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener.
Ayes (5) Collova, Blesener, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 127.
Tima Land Mr. Louie Tima appeared before the Council requesting approval of
Conveyance the conveyance of part of his property to his daughter and son-in-law
who are adjacent property owners. Mr. Tim a submitted a Certificate
Agenda of Survey depicting the land conveyance. Tima pointed out that an
Item No. 6 additional lot is not being created, only a lot line i s being moved.
Mrs. Scalze expressed concern that in the fut~re the City may want
to install a cul-de-sac at the end of Australian Avenue. If the
lot line adjustment is approved, then the City will have to deal
with two property owners on this matter rather than one.
Fahey pointed out that an additional lot is not being created at
this time, and it may be that the property will be considered
unbuildable due to the lack of the cul-de-sac at the end of
Australian.
Scalze felt that any approval should indicate that the property
would be unbuildable until such time as the cul-de-sac is improved.
Mrs. Thomas Judd, Mr. Tima's daughter, pointed out that an additional
lot is not being requested at this time and she is aware that the
cul-de-sac would need to be installed before the property could be
divided.
Scalze felt strongly that any approval of the lot line adjustment
should indicate the property was not dividable at this time.
Blesener felt that the access question could be dealt with at the
time there was a request to divide the property.
Fahey stated that he would support approval of the lot line adjustment,
however, any potential purchaser of the property should be aware that
the property is unbuildable without the cul-de-sac at the end of
Australian being improved.
Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Page -4-
