MINUTES City Council April 22, 1987 Thunder Bay Fahey suggested that the road be staked out so the adjacent (Cont.) property owners would see its location. Frattalone stated that the developers will try to work with the neighbors to make everyone happy. There was no one else from the general public wishing to comment. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-4-159 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE THUNDER BAY SECOND ADDITION PRELIP4INARY PLAT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 173. Blesener suggested that any appraisal contain the value of the land as undeveloped and the value with the !dright house. Fahey pointed out that the City would get the cost of the house back through the tax increment financing. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-4-160 - TABLING ACTION ON THE THUNDER BAY SECOND ADDITI0~1 PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR THREE WEEKS PENDING A REPORT FROM THE CITY PLANNER WITH REGARD TO THE FEASIBILITY OF THE USE OF TAX INCRFMENT FINANCING WITFI REGARD TO THIS PLAT TO ALLOW THE CITY TO PURCHASE THE WRIGHT PROPERTY THROUGH TAX INCREMENT FINANCING WITH DEMOLITION OF THE WRIGHT HOME AND RESALE OF THE PROPERTY BACK TO THE DEVELOPERS OF THE THUNDER BAY PRELIMINARY PLAT, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY PLANNER TO OBTAIN AN APPRAISAL OF THE WRIGHT PROPERTY, IF NECESSARY, AND DETERMINE IF A PURCHASE PRICE CAN BE AGREED TO BETWEEN THE INVOLVED PARTIES The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze.
