MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April 22, 1987 <br />Thunder Bay Fahey suggested that the road be staked out so the adjacent <br />(Cont.) property owners would see its location. <br />Frattalone stated that the developers will try to work with the <br />neighbors to make everyone happy. <br />There was no one else from the general public wishing to comment. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-4-159 - CLOSING THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE THUNDER BAY <br />SECOND ADDITION PRELIP4INARY PLAT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 173. <br />Blesener suggested that any appraisal contain the value of the <br />land as undeveloped and the value with the !dright house. <br />Fahey pointed out that the City would get the cost of the house <br />back through the tax increment financing. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-4-160 - TABLING ACTION ON <br />THE THUNDER BAY SECOND ADDITI0~1 PRELIMINARY <br />PLAT FOR THREE WEEKS PENDING A REPORT FROM <br />THE CITY PLANNER WITH REGARD TO THE FEASIBILITY <br />OF THE USE OF TAX INCRFMENT FINANCING WITFI <br />REGARD TO THIS PLAT TO ALLOW THE CITY TO PURCHASE <br />THE WRIGHT PROPERTY THROUGH TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING WITH DEMOLITION OF THE WRIGHT HOME <br />AND RESALE OF THE PROPERTY BACK TO THE <br />DEVELOPERS OF THE THUNDER BAY PRELIMINARY PLAT, <br />AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY PLANNER TO <br />OBTAIN AN APPRAISAL OF THE WRIGHT PROPERTY, <br />IF NECESSARY, AND DETERMINE IF A PURCHASE <br />PRICE CAN BE AGREED TO BETWEEN THE INVOLVED <br />PARTIES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 174. <br />Page -16- <br />
