PIINUTES <br />City Council <br />P9ay 27, 1987 <br />Copier The City Clerk disagreed that an error was made in calculating the <br />(Cont.) bids and reported that he has signed a contract with D. C. Hey Co. and the <br /> equipment will be delivered tomorrow. <br />There was no one from the Council who made a motion for reconsideration <br />of the purchase of the Sharp copy machine from D. C. Hey Company. <br />Assessment The City Engineer reported that the assessment reapportionment for <br />Reappor- Division No. DL 060696 was routine and recommended approval. <br />tionment <br />Div. DL 060696 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution ~~uas duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 257. <br />Feasibility The City Engineer submitted a feasibility report on Improvement No. <br />Report 87-8, the improvement of Centerville Road from Allan Avenue to <br />Imp. No. DeSoto by sanitary sewer and watermain. Estimated cost of the <br />87-8 improvement is $187,237. The Engineer proposed that assessments <br /> for the improvement be determined on a per acre basis rather than <br />Aqenda a per front foot basis. <br />Ttem No. 17 <br /> The City Clerk reported that Larry Lee is proposing to locate the <br /> Slumberland building 40 feet further south than what was originally <br /> proposed. <br /> Blesener asked if sewer would be better located through the middle <br /> of the property. <br /> The Engineer pointed out that the City does not know how the <br /> property will develop, and this is the reason sewer and water is <br /> proposed along Centerville Road. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTI0~1 N0. 87-5-239 - APPROVING AP1D <br />ACCEPTING TNE FEASIliILITY REPORT SUBP4ITTED <br />BY THE CITY ENGINEER FOR IP•9PROVEMENT N0. <br />87-8, THE IPIPROVEMENT OF CEPITERVILLE ROAD <br />FROM ALLAN TO DESOTO BY SANITARY SEWER AND <br />Page -29- <br />
