Soil Borings Agenda Item No. 18 Insect/ Rodents/ P!oodpi 1 es Agenda Item No. 19 WATERPIAIN, AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC NEARING TO CONSIDER THIS IMPROVEMENT ON JUNE 24, 1987 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 258. The City Engineer reported that soil borings have been ordered for the Centerville Road area, however, the results of the borings have not been received. The City Attorney submitted for approval a proposed ordinance regulating woodpiles. Mr. Blesener introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: ORDI~IANCE N0. 284 - AN ORDINANCE ADDING PARAGRAPHS o AND (p) TO SECTION 601.030 OF THE MUMICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RELATING TO INSECT AND RODENT HARBORAGE APID STORAGE OF FIREWOOD The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle, Fahey. Nays (0). Ord.inance declared adopted. Acquisition The City Attorney recommended that a permanent easement be purchased Of Easement from Mr. Day for the Sylvan Street improvement in the amount of Day Property $2,666 which is slightly above the appraised value of the easement. Agenda Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Item No. 20 RESOLUTION N0. P7-5-240 - APPROVING THE ACQUISITIOM OF AN EASEMENT FOR THE SYLVAN STREET IMPRQVEMENT FROP1 MR. DAY IN THE AP10U~IT OF $2,666.00 AS RECOP9MENDED BY THE CITY ATTOR~IEY AND AUTHORIZING THE P4AYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE TNE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r.
