MINUTES <br />City Council <br />May 27, 1987 <br />Acquisition City Attorney reported that the appraised value of the permanent easement <br />Of Easements on the blaite property is $3,300 and the value of the temporary easenent <br />Waite is $1,750 in conjunction with the Sylvan Street improvement. Mr. Waite <br />Property is requesting $2,700 in excess of the appraised value for the easements. <br />The Attorney recommended that the matter be submitted to the Board of <br />Agenda Commissioners. <br />Item No. 20 <br />Council discussed the fact that P4r. l~aite was one of the petitioners <br />for the improvement and also that the City granted him a variance <br />for his property. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-5-241 - AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO SUBMIT TO THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS TNE MATTER OF THE t~JAITE <br />EASEP9ENT ACQUISITI0~1 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Collova, LaValle, Blesener, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 260. <br />City Lapel Fahey submitted to the Council sample designs of a City lapel pin. <br />Pin <br />Council discussed the designs and felt that the vista process was <br />Agenda the most desirable. Council felt that Fahey and Scalze should <br />Item No. 22a work with the manufacturer on the final design det~ils and that <br />1,000 lapel pins should be ordered. <br />P4r. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTI0~1 N0. 87-5-242 - AUTHORIZING TNE <br />ORDERING OF 1,000 CITY LAPEL PINS PIANUFFlCTURED <br />WITH A VISTA PROCESS AT THE BEST NEGOTIATED <br />PRICE POSSIBLE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Slesener, Collova, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Plays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 17, Page 261. <br />Becker Fahey reported that Mrs. Becker has submitted a letter to the City <br />Lot Split requesting that their proposed lot split be reconsidered. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 22b Page -31- <br />
