MINUTES <br />City Council <br />June 24, 1987 <br />Thunder Mr. Collova introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Qay 2nd <br />Addition RESOLUTION N0. 87-6-277 - APPROVING TNE <br />(Cont.1 FINAL PLAT OF THE THUNDER BAY 2ND ADDITION <br />AS PRESEPJTED SUBJECT TO THE DEDICATION OF A <br />I~ALK~lAY EASEP9ENT AS P.ECOMNENDED QY THE PARK <br />C OPnP1I SS I ON <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (21 Collova, LaValle. <br />Nays (3) Blesener, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Resolution denied. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book tJo. 17, Pages 301 and 302. <br />Fahey felt that any approval of the final plat should address the <br />setback for Tract A so that it lines up with the homes on the <br />new street, pointing out that the 40-foot right-of-way also extends <br />in front of this lot. <br />Scalze reported that the Park Commission's recommendation was for <br />a walkway easement between Lots 7 and 8, the easement to be 10 feet <br />wide, with a 6 foot paved pathway and a 4 foot high fence on either <br />side of the path to be constructed at the cost of the developer. <br />Valento requested that the easement be required between Lots 6 and 7. <br />Scalze agreed. <br />Mr. Blesener asked the width of the lot at the corner of the Glestwinds <br />Development and LaBore Road, noting that if there is a problem with <br />inadequate building area on corner lots, perhaps the width requirement <br />for corner lots should be increased. <br />The City Clerk reported that he would obtain this information for the <br />Council. <br />CUP For Fahey opened the public hearing on the request of the Roseville <br />Temporary School District for conditional use permit for a temporary portable <br />Portable classroom at the Little Canada Elementary School. Fahey pointed <br />Classroom out that the Planning Commission recommended approval subject to <br />the building being located on the south side of the school as well <br />Agenda as the structure being a new one, and submission of a picture of <br />Item No. 8 the structure. The Planner has also recommended approval <br />Paul Borg, representative of the School District, reported that they <br />are agreeable to locating the building on the south side of the school. <br />Borg submitted a picture of what the structure will look like as well <br />as a drawing of where the structure will be located. <br />There was no one from the general public wishing to comment on this <br />proposal. <br />Page -11- <br />
