MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July E, 1987 <br />City Center <br />Expansion <br />(Cont.) <br />Assessment <br />Reapportion- <br />ment <br />Div. No. <br />06043 <br />Blesener reported that he will try to get all the comments and suggestions <br />compiled within the next 45 days. <br />Collova and Scalze reported that they would discuss the proposal with <br />their departments. <br />The City Engineer submitted for approval an assessment reapportionment <br />for Division No. 06043. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-7-313 - APPROVING THE <br />Agenda ASSESSMENT RFAPPORTIOPdMFNT FOR DIVISION <br />Item No. 11 N0. 06043 AS RECOMPIEPJDED BY THE CITY <br />ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 338. <br />Woodlyn The City Engineer reported that he would have a report for the Council <br />Avenue at its next meeting on Woodlyn Avenue. The Engineer reported that the <br /> watermain has been installed, however, the street is in such poor <br />Agenda condition that it cannot be patched. <br />Addition <br />Ditch Scalze reported that the residents on the west side of Thunder Bay <br />Thunder Road have asked why they have an open ditch in the back of their <br />Bay Road yards versus a covered storm sewer pipe. <br />Agenda The City Engineer reported that this area will remain a swale unless <br />Addition the property owners petition for a pipe. <br /> Scalze reported that the property owners have gotten together with <br /> a contractor in the area and may come to an agreement to put a pipe <br /> in themselves. They are estimating the cost at $1,000 per home <br />or <br /> , <br />about $20 per foot. <br />Bingo <br />(Cont <br />) The City Attorney suggested that the City inform Roger Franke of the <br />. State Gambling Control Board of its denial of the DAC license application <br /> as soon as possible as the City's 30-day comment period on this <br /> application is about to expire. <br /> The City Clerk reported that the comment period expires on July 10 <br /> , <br />and that he would inform Franke of the denial tomorrow. <br />Page -13- <br />
