P9INUTES <br />City Council <br />July 8, 1987 <br />David The City Attorney reported that he has informed David Wright that in <br />Wright order to proceed w ith his proposed subdivision, he will have to purchase <br />Subdivision the necessary road easement for No el Drive. The Attorney reported that <br /> the Plessel's have indicated that they know the road will be developed <br />Agenda at some point, but want to be paid for any road easement they have to <br />Item ~o. 12 dedicate. <br />Mostad Mrs. Scalze informed the Council that the State has approved the City's <br />Property application for Lawcon grant to be used in purchasing the Mostad property. <br />& Grant However, the City has not received the formal approval letter at this <br />Application time. <br />Agenda Scalze reported that Bill Sanders has indicated that the City can now <br />Addition proceed to begin negotiations with Mrs. Mostad for the purchase of her <br />property. Scalze pointed out that the City has an appraisal for the <br />property of $55,500 for 6.04 acres. <br />The City Attorney reported that before he begins negotiations, he will <br />contact the State as well as Bill Sanders. <br />Sealcoating Blesener reported that sealcoating of some City streets will begin <br />tomorrow. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 13 <br />Pipelines Blesener pointed out that the City is required to adopt a pipeline <br />setback ordinance within the next couple of years, and suggested that <br />Agenda the Planner make a recommendation on this. <br />Addition <br />Kathy Tipler Scalze publically thanked Kathy Tipler for her attendance and minutes <br />at some water quality meetings on behalf of the City. <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />Day Care Scalze suggested that the City Attorney review State law with regard <br />to day care facilities in residential neighborhoods and give the <br />Agenda Council an opinion. <br />Item No. 15a <br />Parks Scalze requested that the Council review the parks assessment survey <br />Assessment recently done by Shoreview and suggested that the matter then be <br />Survey discussed at a future Council meeting. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 16a <br />Page -14- <br />
