The Planner also noted that he will request
an opinion from the Building Inspector evith regard to Appendix E.
St. John's Mr. Bob De6ace, representing St. John's Credit Union, appeared
Credit before the Council requesting approval of conditional use permits
Union for office use in an RB zone, mixed residential and commercial use
and off-site parking. DeBace also requested a variance from the
Agenda performance standards of the Ordinance.
Item No. 6
Fahey noted that the Planner has submitted a new report dated
July 22, 1937 recommending approval of the request since the
non-conformity on the site is not being expanded and pointing
out previous Council action with regard to the Saxon Lanes. The
Planner is also suggesting that the Credit Union obtain an easement
for parking and access purposes from the City for the property in
front of their site.
DeBace pointed out that when that property was given to the City
it was with the understanding that the land would be used by the
adjacent properties with the exception of when church services
were being conducted. However, this stipulation was not included
in meeting minutes and was a verbal stipulation.
DeBace pointed out that the Planner is suggesting that the City
grant a permanent easementfor access and use by the adjacent
properties.
Page -4-
