AND REQUEST A RECOMMENDATION fOR A NO WAKE <br />LEVEL TO BE CONSIDERED FOR LAKE GERVAIS AT <br />THE CITY'S SEPTEMBER 9, 1987 MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 395. <br />Park Scalze reported that a representative of Decisior Resources, Inc. <br />Survey will attend the August Park Commission meeting on August 20, 1987 <br />at 7:45 P.M. Scalze invited anyone interested from the Council <br />Agenda to attend the meetino. <br />Addition <br />Scalze reporied that th~ Pari< Commission is interested in doing a <br />survey to determine the City's park needs. Other items of interest <br />or concern could be incorporated on the survey. Scalze noted that <br />the Park Commission will budget for the cost of the survey for 1988. <br />Spooner Scalze reported that the City received four bids for the expansion of <br />Park the lower parking lot in Spooner Park. They are as follows: <br />Lower Parking <br />Lot Expansion Buck Blacktop, Inc. $32,230.00 <br />Daily & Sons Blacktopping $19,698.00 <br />Agenda Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $20,504.00 <br />Addition Ashbach Construction Co. $23,700.00 <br />Scalze recommended that the low bid be awarded, and the City Engineer <br />agreed based on the City's past experience with Daily & Sons <br />Blacktopping. <br />Collova pointed out that the City Council approved calling for bids <br />for the expansion provided that the cost of the project was less than <br />$20,000. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the fol1owing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-8-370 - ACCEPTING AND <br />AWARDING THE LOW BID OF DAILY & SONS <br />BLACKTOPPING IN THE AMOUNT Of $19,698 <br />FOR EXPANSION OF THE L041ER PARKING LOT <br />IN SPOONER PARK SUBJECT TO SUBMISSION OF THE <br />~~ECESSARY BOND AND PROOF OF INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0).
