MINUTES <br />City Council <br />August 12, 1987 <br />Sophie/ Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Peterson <br />Plat (Cont.) RESOLUTION N0. 87-8-358 - AUTHORIZING PAYMENT <br />TO MARCEL EIBENSTEINER AND GORDIE HOWE OF <br />$12,409.40 AS REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE 95 FEET <br />OF IMPROVEMENT OF ALLEN AVENUE TO GREENBRIER <br />AS PREVIOUSLY AGREED TO BY THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Fahey, Collova, Scalze, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 384. <br />Mr. Eibensteiner then requested that the amount of his letter of <br />credit on the Sophie/Peterson plat be reduced. <br />The Engineer reported that there are some minor items that need <br />to be completed and suggested that the Council approve a reduction <br />in the amount of the letter of credit consistent with his recommendation <br />which he will make after inspection of the project within the next few <br />days. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-8-359 - APPROVING THE <br />REDUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF THE LETTER OF <br />CREDIT SUBMITTED BY MARCEL EIBENSTEINER FOR <br />THE SOPHIE/PETERSON PLAT CONSISTENT WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATION OF TNE CITY ENGINEER UPON MAKING <br />INSPECTION Of THE IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 385. <br />Kingsbury Fahey reported that the City Engineer and Mr. Kingsbury have determined <br />Drainage that his culvert is large enough, however, Kingsbury is requesting that <br />Matter the outlet near the lake be repaired as it is collapsed. <br />Agenda Blesener questioned the amount of fill necessary to correct drainage <br />Item No. 8 on the Kingsbury property, and felt the Engineer should be authorized <br />to deposit as much dirt as necessary to correct drainage. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Page -5- <br />
