N0.
86-9-B AS AMENDED, LAKESHORE FROR^ EAST
ROSE PLACE TO LAKE STREET BY STREET OVERLAY
COUNTY N0. 5669
It~TEREST RATE - 9% PER ANNUM
IMSTALLPIENT - THREE YEARS
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Collova.
Ayes (4) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, Scalze.
Nays (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 427.
Assessment Fahey opened the assessment hearing on Imp. No. 86-15, Sylvan Street
Hearing by sanitary sewer, watermain, street, curb and gutter. Proposed
Imp. No, assessment is $152.93 per front foot.
86-15
Fahey asked if there was anyone present wishing to comment on Imp.
Agenda No. 86-15.
Item No. 15
Mr. Terry McTeague, 2565 Stark Street, reported that the back of his
property fronts on Sylvan. McTeague asked what the Council considers
to be a buildable lot, if a buildable lot was one that met ordinance
requirements without necessity for a variance. McTeague reported that
his property could not be divided without a variance.
Fahey pointed out that the property adjacent to McTeague's is
undeveloped, and McTeague could acquire additional property to
make his lot buildable.
McTeague reported that he was previously granted a variance for width,
pointing out that his property is 72 feet wide. However, if he
maintained a 30 foot rearyard setback when dividing his property,
the newly created lot would not meet the City 10,000 square foot
requirement.
Blesener pointed out that when Sylvan Street was ordered, the City
Council agreed to grant another lot a square footage variance as the
lot was only short about 500 square feet. Blesener suggested that
a similar variance be granted for the McTeague property.
Page -20-
