MINUTES <br />City Council <br />August 26, 1987 <br />Imp. No. The City Attorney noted that State Statute provides that there can <br />86-2 (Cont.) be no appeal of an assessment unless a written objection is filed <br />with the City Clerk prior to adoption of the assessment roll. <br />There was no one else present wishing to comment. <br />P1r. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-8-381 - CLOSING TNE <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSP1ENTS FOR IMP. <br />N0. 86-2, IMPROVEP1ENT OF MORRISON AVENUE <br />BY STREET, CURB APJD GUTTER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) alesener, Scalze, Fahey, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 407. <br />The City Clerk reported that the Council will have until October 10, <br />1987 to amend the assessment rolls for the various improvements. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-8-382 - APPROVING AND <br />ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR IP1P. N0. <br />86-2 AS At4ENDED <br />MORRIS0~1 STREET - DEh10NT TO SOUTH END BY <br />STREET, CURB AND GUTTER <br />COUNTY N0. 5662 <br />INTEREST RATE - 9% PER ANNUM <br />INSTALLMENT - EIGHT YEARS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (~) alesener, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution 6ook No. 18, Page 408. <br />Assessment Fahey opened the assessment hearing on Improvement No. 86-3, <br />Nearing improvement of Demont from Savage Lane to McMenemy Road by street, <br />Imp. No. curb and gutter. <br />86-3 <br /> Fahey noted a written appeal of the assessment filed by Gary <br />Agenda Johnson, 307 Demont. <br />Item No. 9 <br /> Fahey asked if there was anyone from the general public present <br /> wishing to comment on Imp.
