MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 9, 1987 <br />False The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Alarms Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Blesener, LaValle, Collova. <br />(Cont.) Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 457. <br />Trovare Fahey reported that the City has received an application from Trovare, <br />Liquor One Little Canada Road, for an intoxicating beer license. Fahey noted <br />License that the restaurant has a delinquent water bill of $629.02 and also <br /> that the $180.00 liquor license permit fee for their non-intoxicating <br />Agenda beer and malt liquor license has not been paid. <br />Item No. 12c <br /> Council felt that prior to issuance of the intoxicating beer license, <br /> these delinquent amounts must be paid. <br /> LaValle also suggested that the City obtain a police report on the <br /> principals in the business, as is routine in all liquor license <br /> matters. <br /> Fahey thought that this was done in July at liquor license renewal <br /> time, however, instructed the City Clerk to determine if a police <br /> report was received, and if not, to order one. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-9-433 - APPROVI~lG AN INTOXICATING <br />BEER LICENSE FOR TROVARE AT ONE EAST LITTLE CANADA <br />ROAD UPON PAYP9ENT IN FULL OF PAST-DUE ACCOUNTS FOR <br />CITY WATER AS WELL AS THE PAST-DUE LICENSE FEE FOR <br />TROVARE'S 3.2 BEER AND MALT LIOUOR LICENSE, UPON <br />VERIFICATION BY THE CITY CLERK OF A SATISFACTORY <br />POLICE REPORT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 458. <br />Community Fahey suggested that the Council consider the possibility of establishing <br />Development a community development corporation to pursue the development of <br />Corporation additional senior citizen housing with Tax Increment Financing. <br />Fahey suggested that this be discussed at the September 23 meeting. <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />Page -18- <br />
