MINUTES City Council Sept. 9, 1987 Centerville NORTH OF THE MONTREAL COURTS APARTMENT Road COMPLEX FROM CENTERVILLE ROAD ON THE Property WEST TO UNIMPROVED THOROUGHFARE FOR DESOTO (Cont.) ON THE EAST, AND ALL INTERESTED PARTIES WISHING TO COMMENT WITH REGARD TO THIS PROPOSAL SHOULD ATTEND AND PROVIDE THE CITY WITH THEIR INPUT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution book No. 18, Page 459. Council felt that the Engineer and Attorney should options on the property so that the dollar amount discussed how far north the options should extend Courts, and felt the Schweitzer property should be try to obtain is known. Council from r1ontreal included. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOlUTION N0. 87-9-435 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGI~!L'ER AND CITY ATTOR~IEY TO PURSUE ACQUIRING SIX-MONTN OPTION AGREEMENTS TO PURCHASE LAND FROM TNE PROPERTY OWNERS NORTH OF TNE C90~ITREAL COURTS APARTMENT COMPLEX THROUGH THE SCHWEITZER PROPERTY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P4rs. Scalze. Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Collova, Blesener. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book PJo. 18, Page 460. Recreation Scalze reported that the Recreation Association has donated money Report in the amount of $3,800 for a storage shed at the pleasure rink at the Fire Qarns, $700 for a tennis ball machine, and $900 to repair Agenda the water fountain at Gilbertson Field. Addition Scalze further reported that Basketball, Nockey and Fall Gymnastics registration will be held on September 24 and October 5 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Recreation The Council tabled discussion of Recreation Department salaries Salaries until the next Council meeting in order to have time to review the materials submitted by Scalze.
