MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 23, 1987 <br />Wake The City Clerk reported that he will find out what the high water <br />Ordinance level is for Lake Gervais and pass this information on to the City <br />(Cont.) Attorney to include in an ordinance for Council consideration. <br />Blesener pointed out that Prior Lake's ordinance already provides <br />for the speed limit in effect when the lake has reached its high <br />water level. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIOPJ N0. 87-9-456 - INSTRUCTING THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT A WAKE ORDINANCE <br />BASED ON PRIOR LAKE'S ORDINANCE WITH PR,OVISIOPJ <br />FOR HIGH WATER LEVEL AND PUBLICATION <br />OF THAT LEVEL IN THE ORDINANCE FOR COUNCIL REVIEti' <br />AND SUBMISSION TO THE COUNTY AND DNR PRIOR TO <br />CALLING A PUQLIC HEARING ON TNE PROPOSED ORDINANCE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (51 Fahey, Scalze, LaValle, Blesener, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 482. <br />Strong The City Clerk reported that State law has been changed with regard <br />Beer to strong beer licenses, and suggested that City Ordinances be <br />Licenses changed to reflect State law. The Clerk pointed out that the City <br />has received an application from Trovare for a strong beer license. <br />A~enda <br />Item No. 13b Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-9-457 - INSTRUCTING THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSTRUCT AN ORDINANCE <br />CONFORMING WITH STATE LAtd WITH REGARD TO <br />STRONG QEER LICENSES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Blesener, Collova, Fahey. <br />Nays (1) LaValle. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 483. <br />Edgerton alesener requested the status of the Edgerton storm sewer. <br />Storm <br />Sewer The City Engineer reported that he talked to the County who indicated <br />that they did not agree to pay 80% to 90% of the cost of storm sewer <br />Agenda on Edgerton as was indicated at the previous Council meeting by Mr. <br />Addition Tuerk. The Engineer estimated that the County's share would be in <br />the 15% to 20% range. <br />Page -20- <br />
