MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Sept. 23, 1987 <br />Owens <br />Cul-De-Sac <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />Curb Cuts <br />On Demont <br />& Morrison <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />Carl a <br />Lane <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />Blesener reported that the Public <br />letter to Mr. Owens regarding his <br />cul-de-sac in front of his home. <br />letter as yet. <br />Works Superintendent has sent a <br />claim for removal of the temporary <br />There has been no reply to the <br />Blesener reported that the Public Works Department will be fine grinding <br />the curb cuts on Demont and Morrison and sealing the concrete in the <br />near future. <br />The City Engineer reported that he has checked with the City of <br />Plaplewood and watermain has not been installed on Palm Court in <br />Maplewood, and there are no plans to do so. <br />Scalze pointed out that the City may be forced to redo Carla Lane <br />without watermain. <br />Fahey stated that if Carla Lane were redone, he would be in favor <br />of installing a dry watermain. <br />Water Loss Blesener reported that the City has received the report from Pitometer <br />on their testing of water meters and water lines in the City to <br />Agenda determine the cause of the City's water loss. They determined that <br />Addition the pump in the Booster Station was running 15% fast. That pump has <br />now been repaired. <br />Blesener reported that the Public Works Superintendent has sent a <br />letter to the City of St. Paul requesting that Little Canada and <br />St.Paul get together to work out an adjustment for the charges Little <br />Canada has been paying due to the inaccurate water meter. <br />Brinkman Council reviewed the letter received from Mrs. Brinkman and Thomas <br />Nandicapped Krejci regarding the handicapped access at the Old Little Canada <br />Access School Building. <br />Agenda Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Item No. 15a <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-9-458 - CALLING FOR A <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR OCTOBER 28, 1987 OPl THE <br />BRINKMAN HANDICAPPED ACCESS, t~IITH THE <br />PROVISION THAT THE CITY CLERK NOT SCHEDULE <br />THE PUBLIC HEARIN6 SHOULD IT BE MR. BRINKMAN'S <br />DESIRE THAT NO PUBLIC HEARING ON THIS MATTER <br />BE HELD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, alesener. <br />~lays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 484. <br />Page -21- <br />
