MINUTES City Council Oct. 14, 1987 Eng Dr•ai nage Pr•obl em (Cont.) Mr•s. Eng r•eported that when the pond on County Road B and Edgerton was pumped, they ended up with water• in their basement. Scalze asked if the ditch should be cleaned by the contr•actor• who put in the inter~ceptor• line. Mr•s. Eng also stated that when the new County Road B-2 lift station was installed, water• was pumped fr~om the old lift station into the ditch. This water• ended up in their• fr~ont yar~d. The Ci ty Engi neer~ r~epor~ted that ther~e i s a hi gh water• tabl e i n thi s area. Fahey suggested that the Engineer• r•eview the situation and r~epor~t to the Council at the fir•st meeting in November•. Mr~. Blesener• intr•oduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-10-488 - REFERRING THE ENG DRAINAGE PROBLEM TO TNE CITY ENGINEER FOR REVIE41 WITH REVIEW REQUESTED OF THE COUNTY ROAD B AND EDGERTON POND PUMPING AS WELL AND REQUESTING TNAT THE CITY ENGINEER REPORT TO THE COUNCIL ON THIS MATTER AT THE FIRST MEETING IN NOVEMBER Change In November Meeting Agenda Addition The for~egoing r~esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener~, LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declar•ed adopted. This r•esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 515. The City Cler•k r•epor•ted that the Council's fir~st meeting in November• is scheduled for~ November~ 11, which is a legal holiday. The Cler•k r•ecommended that the meeting date be changed. Mr•.
