MINUTES City Council Dec. 9, 1987 Business Council r•eviewed a pr•oposed letter• submitted by Business Development Development Ser~vices, Inc. to be sent out by the City to var•ious pr•oper•ty owner~s Ser•vi ces i n an attempt to i nventor•y undevel oped or• under•devel oped pr•oper•ty within the City. Agenda Addition It was the concensus of the Council that the pr•oposed letter• was acceptable. 1988 The Council reviewed the proposed 1988 Engineering Contract with Engineer~'s Milner• Car•ley & Associates. It was noted that ther•e was only a Contr~act nominal incr~ease over• the 1987 contr~act which was due to incr~eased insur•ance costs. Agenda Item No. 14a Mr•. LaValle intr~oduced the following r~esolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 87-12-573 - APPROVING THE 1988 ENGINEERING CONTRACT WITH MILNER CARLEY AND ASSOCIATES AS SUBP~ITTED AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN THE CONTRACT ON [iEHALF OF THE CITY The for•egoing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•s. Scalze. Ayes (4) LaValle, Scalze, Collova, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declar•ed adopted. This r~esolution appear•s in Resolution Book No. 18, Page 624, 1988 The Council reviewed the proposed 1988 Attorney's Contract with Sweeney, Attor~ney's 0'Connor• and Bor~er•. It was noted that the incr•ease in the contr•act over• Contr•act the 1987 contract was due mainly to incr~eased time spent in pr•osecuting cr•iminal cases and an incr•ease in the volume of these cases. Agenda Item No. 14b Mr~.
