Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener•, Collova, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appear~s in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 14. <br />Quality The City Attor~ney submitted a signed option agr•eement for• the Quality <br />Blacktop Blacktop property on the south end of the proposed Centerville Park <br />Pr~oper•t,y pr•oper~ty. The option amount was for~ the appr•aised pr•ice of $28,900 <br />for• the pur•chase of 1.33 acr•es. The pr•ice per• acr•e is $21,729. <br />Agenda <br />Addi ti on The Ci ty Attor•ney r•equested that the Mayor~ and Ci ty C1 er•k be author~i zed <br />to sign the agr•eement on behalf of the City. <br />The Attor•ney r~epor~ted that the option was a 90-day option and the <br />option payment is $200. <br />Mr•. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener~, Scalze, Collova, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r•esolution appear~s in Resolution gook No. 19, Page 15. <br />Center~ville Fahey suggested that based on the option pr•ice for~ the Quality <br />Road alacktop pr•oper•ty as well as the sale pr~ice of the Slumber•land <br />Pr•oper•ty pr~oper~ty, the Ci ty Attor•ney shoul d be di r•ected to negoti ate opti on <br /> agr•eements wi th the r ~emai ni ng pr~oper•ty owner~s i n the Center•vi 11 e <br />Agenda Road area whose land the City is interested in purchasing for a park. <br />Addition Fahey suggested that if the Attor•ney cannot negotiate option <br /> agr•eements, then the City should take appr~opr~iate legal pr•oceedings <br /> to move for~war~d with such a pur•chase. <br /> Scalze pointed out t hat the pur•chase pr~ice of the Slumber•land pr•oper•ty <br /> was $20,076 per acr•e which is close to the appr~aisal the City had <br /> done on the pr~oposed par~k pr•oper~ty. <br /> Council agr~eed that the City should take steps to make a good-faith <br /> effor•t to pur•chase t he pr•oposed park pr•oper•ty at this time. <br /> Mr•.
