P1I NUTES City Council Feb. 10, 1988 Par•k Scalze stated that questions 45, 46, 48 and 49 would be deleted and Sur~vey questi on 47 r•etai ned and sl i ghtly r~ewor•ded. (Cont.) Scalze pointed out that the D1ayor~ would like question 50 r~ewor~ded slightly to ask how often the gym facilities at Little Canada Elementar~y School were used during the past year by the respondent. Mor~elan and Zoch suggested that the question ask if the gym was being used for• other• than school sponsor•ed activities. Traxler agreed. Collova suggested that question 71 be eliminated as shooting of bows is illegal within the City. Wehr•le suggested that tr~ails be added to the list. Mor•r•i s noted that thi s i nfor•mati on can be gather~ed by cr~oss tabul ati ng questions 52 and 54. Wehr~le suggested that swimming be added to the list of questions 68 thr~ough 80. Council agreed. It was suggested that the words "wildflower gardens and" be deleted fr~om question No. 78. Blesener• suggested that a question be added asking if r•esidents would like to see a r~ecr•eation center~ developed in Little Canada. Blesener• pointed out that the School Distr~ict is discussing a possible addition onto Little Canada Elementar~y School that would include a multi-pur•pose facility. t~lehr~le suggested that question No. 94 include r•ecreation center•. Blesener• pointed out that the r•ecr•eation center• would not be tied to the City Center, but rather Little Canada Elementary School. Mor~r•i s asked what the r•ecr•eati on center• woul d i ncl ude. Blesener• r~eplied that it would include a gymnasium, locker•s and shower•s in addition to small play r•ooms or• activity r~ooms. Mor•r•is suggested that such a question could be included after• question Page -3-
