MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Mar~ch 9, 1988 <br />Lake View The Planner• r•eplied that the easement is 50 feet wide. The Planner~ <br />Addition also suggested that the City would need an agr~eement that the owner• <br />(Cont.) of Lot l, [31ock 1 would maintain that por•tion of the r•oad easement <br />that would be used. <br />The City Engineer reported that there is currently a home in the back <br />of the Lake View Addition that is using this road easement. <br />6lesener• asked the amount of pr•oper~ty behind the Lake View Addition. <br />The Planner• replied that this was har•d to determine at this point <br />since some of the pr~operty was wetland. <br />The Planner• pointed out that the house would be fr•onting on an <br />impr•oved public str•eet. However~, if the dr•iveway access wer•e allowed <br />to the easement, r~ather~ than Fdger•ton, the City could defer~ the r•equir~e- <br />ment of dr~iveway access to an impr~oved str•eet. <br />Fahey suggested that the Council r•eview a concept sketch of the <br />pr~oper•ty and pr~oposed house. Fahey tabled fur•ther• discussion of this <br />subject until later• in the meeting after• the City Cler•k has pr~ovided <br />copies of the development concept to the Council. <br />Centerville The City Attor~ney r~epor~ted that he has submitted an option agr~eement to <br />Road P~r•. Dave Fr~attalone r~elative to the offer~ the Council pr•eviously discussed <br />Pr•oper~ty for• this pr~oper•ty. The City is now waiting to hear~ fr~om Mr•. Fr•attalone <br />r~egar•ding the offer•. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 10 The Attor•ney r•epor•ted that he has also pr•epar•ed and submitted a new <br />option agr•eement to the Fasciana family for• their~ pr~oper•ty, offer•ing <br />them the same pr•ice being offer~ed to Mr•. Fr~attalone. <br />The Fr•attalone offer~ has also been discussed with Mr•s. Bibeau, and an <br />offer~ wi 11 be made for• her• pr•oper~ty once the Ci ty enter•s i nto an opti on <br />agr~eement on the Fr•attalone pr•oper•ty. <br />Hir•ing P9r~. Blesener r•epor•ted that the position in the Public Wor~ks Depar•tment <br />New has been advertised and the City r•eceived 85 applications for• this <br />Maintenance position. Of the 85, the Super~intendent selected the 5 top candidates <br />Employee and inter•viewed these individuals. These candidates wer•e gr~aded on a <br />point basis, and Pat Dunn, the City's cur•r•ent tempor~ar•y employee, was <br />Agenda r•anked highest. Dunn has wor•ked for~ the City on a tempor~ar~y basis <br />Item No. 14 for~ the past two year~s as well as for thr•ee summer~s and has quite a <br />bit of exper~ience. It was Blesener•'s and the Public Wor•ks Super~intendent's <br />r~ecommendation that the full-time position in Public 6dorks be offer•ed to <br />Pat Dunn. <br />Mr•.
