The water• supplying the wells in the ar•ea is coming fr•om <br />(Cont.) the Mississippi River•. The water• being pumped is ground water and is <br />r•echar~ged by the sur•r•ounding lakes, swamps, culver•ts, r~ainfalls, etc. <br />Blesener• asked the r•ate that water~ is being pumped. <br />Lapem r•eplied that 3.3 gallons is being pumped per• minute on a daily <br />basis. <br />Gambling Celeste Houle, r~epr~esenting Ser•vants of Mar•y, appeared befor•e the <br />License Council r•equesting r~enewal of their• gambling license to oper~ate a <br />Ser•vants pull-tab booth at Br•ady's on Rice str•eet. <br />Of Mar•y <br />At Br~ady's Blesener• asked why the last thr•ee months of 1987 show an incr•ease in <br />the r~ent being char•ged for• the pull-tab booth. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 7 Houle replied that the r•ent amount included wages, clean-up and <br />handling as well as r•ent for• that time per•iod. <br />LaValle repor~ted that he has discussed the matter• with Jan Sher•man <br />of Ser~vants of Mar•y as wel l as Roger~ Fr•ank of the State Gambl i ng <br />Contr~ol f3oar~d, and Ser•vants of R1ar~y's oper~ation at Br•ady's meets <br />the State standar~ds and cr~iter~ia. <br />Mr~s.
