MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Apr•il 27, 1988 <br />Gar~dner• The for•e9oing r•esolution was duly seconded by Mr•. Dlesener•. <br />Br•os. Final Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, Blesener•, LaValle, Collova. <br />Plat (Cont.) Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar~ed adopted. <br />This r~esolution appears in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 166. <br />Schr•oeder• Fahey noted that ther~e was no one present to r~epr•esent the Schroeder <br />Subdivision subdivision request. This r~equest was tabled by the Planning Commission <br />as ther•e was no one pr•esent at their• meeting to r•epr•esent the r~equest. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 12 The City Planner has r•ecommended denial of the subdivision r•equest. <br />Fahey suggested that this matter• be passed over• without action. <br />Holbr•ook Fahey r•epor•ted that the City has r~eceived apnlication fr•om Ray Holbr•ook, <br />Auto 3176 Spr~uce Str•eet, for• an auto r~epair license. Fahey r~eviewed the <br />Repair Building Inspector~'s r•epor~t dated April 22, 1998 r•egar•ding the application. <br />License <br />The City Cler•k r•epor~ted that the City has r~eceived a satisfactor•y <br />Agenda police report. <br />Item ~o. 13 <br />E3lesener~ suggested that the license be appr~oved this evening, but <br />issuance withheld pending compliance with the r•ecommendations of the <br />Building Inspector•. <br />Mr•. Ray Holbr~ook, the applicant, r•epor•ted that the other~ tenant of the <br />building has a spr•ay booth. Holbr•ook repor•ted that ther•e is a possibility <br />that this tenant will vacate the pr~emises, and Holbr•ook would then be <br />able to acquir•e the spr•ay booth. Holbr~ook r•epor•ted that cur•r~ently he <br />is allowed use of the spray booth, however•, it is not available to him <br />for~ all painting wor•k he does. <br />Fahey asked if Code r•equir•ed Holbr•ook to have a spr~ay booth. <br />Holbr•ook r•eplied that it does, and that he intends to comply with Code <br />r•equir•ements. Holbr•ook asked for~ additional time for• compliance with <br />the spr~ay booth r•equir•ement so he can determine whether• he will be able <br />to acquir•e the spr•ay booth alr~eady on the pr•emises. <br />Fahey suggested that Mr~. Holbr•ook wor•k out an agr~eement on this issue <br />with the Building Inspector•, who may be willing to give Nolbr•ook a time- <br />table for• compliance with the spray booth r•equir•ement. <br />Mr•. Fahey introduced the following r•esolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88-4-163 - APPROVING THE RAY <br />HOLBROOK AUTO REPAIR LICENSE: ~f0 OPERATE AT <br />3176 SPRUCE STREET SUBJECT TO COP9PLIANCE GIITH <br />THE CONDITIONS LISTED IN THE FIRE MARSHAL'S <br />REPORT DATED APRIL 22, 1988 AND SU(3JECT TO ~~R. <br />Page -17- <br />
