MINUTES <br />City Council <br />Apr•i 1 27 , 1988 <br />Centerville <br />Road <br />Pr~oper•ty <br />(Cont.) <br />Fahey again suggested that the City Attor~ney tr•y to negotiate ter•ms <br />for• the Bibeau pr•oper•ty. <br />Scalze pointed out that the various proper~ty owner•s in the ar•ea would <br />like to be kept infor•med of what is going on. <br />The City Attor•ney suggested that communications on the AIC Cor•por•ation <br />be funneled thr•ough his office. <br />The Attor•ney r•epor•ted that the Bibeau's would like to finalize the <br />pur•chase with the City as soon as possible. The Bibeau's ar•e also <br />inter•ested in when the City would like them to vacate the pr~oper•ty. <br />The Attorney r•epor~ted that the City has qiven Dave Fr•attalone until <br />September• lst to vacate. <br />Blesener• suggested that Spr•ing would be enough time since the City <br />would not be developing the pr•oper~ty until that time. <br />Fahey agr•eed and pointed out that this would be a good basis for~ offering <br />ter~ms to the Bibeau's. <br />The City Attor•ney pointed out that <br />winter•, the City is in the position <br />will have to insur•e the pr~oper~ty. <br />if the Bibeau's r~emain thr~ough the <br />of being a landlor•d and the City <br />It was the concensus of the Council that the Bibeau's could r~emain on <br />the pr•oper~ty unti 1 May 1, 1989 i f the pr•oper~ty i s pur~chased by the Ci ty. <br />The Council felt the same ar•r•angement should be offer~ed to the tenant <br />on the Fasciana pr•operty as well. <br />The Ci ty Attor•ney r~epor•ted that he woul d have to dr~aw up a r•ental <br />aqr~eement, but felt the Bibeau's would pr~obably vacate the pr~emises <br />as soon as they found another~ home. The City Attorney also r~epor•ted <br />that the Bibeau's would like to r~emove some items fr•om the house, <br />including some tr~ees and shr•ubs. <br />Council was agreeable. <br />Blesener• felt it was in the best inter•ests of the City to have the <br />Bibeau and Fasciana homes occupied or~ the homes should be torn down. <br />Slumber~land The City Planner• r•eported that he has talked with Slumberland r~egar~ding <br />the stor•age of semi -tr~ai 1 er~s on thei r~ pr'oper•ty, whi ch i s i n vi ol ati on <br />Agenda of City Code requirements, and the semi-trailers will be removed shortly. <br />Item No. 19 <br />alesener• r•epor~ted that the semi-tr•ailers have already been r•emoved. <br />Cities Week Fahey r~epor•ted that the infor•mation in the agenda on Cities Week is <br />for• infor•mation pur•poses only. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 21a <br />Page -25- <br />
