Collova. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Collova, Fahey, Scalze, Blesener•. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declar•ed adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 19, Page 181. <br />Ar~bor• Day Fahey announced that on Fr~iday, April 29th, ther~e will be an Arbor• Day <br />Celebr•ation ceremony at the City Center~ beginning at 1 P.M. The public is invited. <br />Dur•ing the cer~emony a time capsule that was buried in 1978 will be dug <br />Agenda up and a new time capsule will be bur~ied. <br />Addition <br />Contr•ibutions to the time capsule ar•e welcomed. <br />City Center~ Blesener~ r•epor•ted that pr•esent Council Chamber•s has seating capacity for• <br />Expansion appr•oximately 50 people. SEH's pr•oposal has a seating capacity for~ 155, <br />with ability to seat 120 people at r•ound tables. Blesener• was concer~ned <br />Agenda that the size of the Council Chambers was overdesigned and could be cut <br />Addition in half. Blesener• pointed out the City's desir~e to pr•ovide community <br />r•oom space for• use by senior• citizens, for~ example, and noted that <br />stor•age space would be needed for tables, etc. that would be needed <br />for~ community uses. <br />Blesener~ also repor•ted that he has given copies of the pr•oposed expansion <br />plan to the var~ious Commissions, Recr~eation staff and City staff for• <br />their comment. <br />alesener• suggested that Scalze discuss with the Senior• Citizen Coor~dinator~ <br />Page -30- <br />
